Ses Figueretes, IBIZA
Ses Figueretes beach is located on the outskirts of Ibiza Town and is the closest beach to Ibiza town centre and old town, a 15 minute walk away.
It’s a popular place with tourists and locals with a promenade running along the beach that was modernised in 2019. It’s is a lively area with many facilities and a great variety of hotels, many of which are located at the seafront. It’s also an area that’s popular with the LGBTQ community. It’s a beautiful spot at all times of day with market stalls opening during the evening selling a variety of souvenirs. From the beach there are wonderful views of Formentera, Dalt Vila and the Isla de las Ratas which always has a fireworks display on local holidays.

BEACHES
Ses Figueretes beach has 3 areas of sand which are connected by a long walkway lined with palm trees. The golden sand and clear turquoise water make it popular with families, those wishing to top up their tan or simply relax. Sunbeds and parasols are available to hire but they can be expensive so many people opt to lie on towels.
Ses Figueretes beach also has showers and disabled access.
FOOD & DRINK
There are many bars and restaurants with wonderful views of the bay. They cater for all tastes and budgets and offer local cuisine, tapas, Italian and Japanese food.

A wide variety of shops exists in Ses Figueretes including supermarkets.
THINGS TO DO
Activities such as water sports, kayaking, hiking, yoga and boat trips are available at Ses Figueretes. A walk to the UNESCO World Heritage City of Dalt Vila is also worthwhile – it’s a 15 minute walk.
ROAD ACCESS
The drive from Ibiza Town to Ses Figueretes takes about 5 minutes and is an easy journey though parking can be a little more challenging. A bus service operates as well as small ferries to Ibiza Town and Playa den Bossa.
