WIND & SWELL
The south east corner of the bay gives almost complete protection from the wind and swell.
ANCHORING / SEABED
The seabed comprises sand, rocks and seaweed. If you want to drop anchor you should go to the north of the bay, close to the large area of sand. Care should be taken to avoid cables from the Spanish mainland that come ashore at the beach.
There are many private buoys here, thus reducing the anchorage possibilities. It is possible to get a buoy free of charge at the beginning of the season.
You can take your dinghy to the stone beach and either drag it onto the beach or tie up somewhere using your anchor at aft.
The beach is surrounded by fishermen’s huts and there are no facilities in the cove. The water is crystal clear and it’s a great place to swim though you need to look out for the stones. If you want to swim you should get a buoy close to the beach.
