Es Cavallet, IBIZA

Es Cavallet beach is close to Ibiza Town – a 15 minute drive. It is popular with the LGBT community and is Ibiza’s official nudist beach.

Although it’s not particularly accessible by road (parking is difficult) and the bus service only goes to Las Salines, it is still a busy beach that also attracts families and celebrities. It is located in a beautiful natural area which is part of the UNESCO Parque Natural de Ses Salines with pine trees to the west. It’s an unspoilt location with no hotels, shops or facilities found at other beaches close to Ibiza Town. On a clear day there is a wonderful view of Formentera.
There are few facilities at this beach – no public toilets or showers, and no water activities.

Beaches

BEACHES

Es Cavallet beach is about 1km long with pine trees on its western boundary. The sand is soft and golden and the water is clear. There is a steep slope at the waterline resulting in choppy waves and a slight current so children should be supervised carefully. There are areas of seaweed but these can easily be avoided so you can enjoy swimming. Sun loungers and parasols are available at a cost of around €30 for 2 sunbeds and a parasol.
