Es Caló de s’Illa, IBIZA
Es Calo de s’illa is a stunning cove north of Ibiza. It’s about 6.5km away from San Joan de Labritja, and also known also as Platja d’en Rencii or S’iilo d’en Rencii or ‘Moon beach’ because of its rocky moon-like landscape — you’ll even discover craters here.
Mostly a gravel rock beach, it has fisherman huts to one side. There’s a small islet with the same name right opposite the cove, close enough to swim to.

The beach is surrounded by large cliffs and pine trees. The seabed is crystal clear, and but it’s mostly gravel, and coarse sand. The beach is quite small, about 40 metres in length, and 40 metres in width, with no facilities.

ROAD ACCESS
Take the road towards Sant Joan de Labritja, before reaching the town, turn left towards Portinatx, and follow the road for several kilometers. After Cala Xarraca, the turn off is to the left with the signpost Si’llot d’es Rencli. It’s a rugged and windy road to get there.
