Cala Llonga, IBIZA
Cala Llonga is on the east of Ibiza, a 10 minute drive from Ibiza town or Santa Eularia and 25 minutes from San Antonio.
This long beach is nestled beneath pine covered cliffs at each end making it a sun trap. Cala Llonga’s wide choice of activities makes it popular with families.

ANCHORING / SEABED
The seabed consists of sand over rocks. When anchoring be sure to keep clear of the swimmers’ buoys and ferry routes.

There are no mooring buoys available at Cala Llonga.

Its possible to approach the beach by dinghy.
BEACHES
The beach at Cala Llonga is large and consists of soft white sand and small pebbles. It is one of the Blue Flag beaches in Ibiza. The sand slopes gently into the shallow, clear water making it safe for children, though you should look out for jellyfish.
FOOD & DRINK
There are many restaurants and bars at Cala Llonga, some on the beach and others on the promenade just behind the beach. They serve a wide variety of food to suit all tastes.
SHOPPING
There is a supermarket at Cala Llonga as well as a variety of shops selling souvenirs and beach items. On Thursday evenings you might want to visit the market where you can buy clothes, jewellery and souvenirs.
THINGS TO DO
There is a very wide range of activities available at Cala Llonga including scuba diving, jet skis, beach volleyball, pedalos, and fishing. Or you can take a ferry to Santa Eulalia or Formentera or have a trip on the local tourist train. There is a playground in the sand and also a summer funfair for the children to enjoy.
ROAD ACCESS
The winding road to Cala Llonga has spectacular views. There is limited parking at Cala Llonga either in a small parking area near the beach or street parking, but both become busy. Cala Llonga can also be reached by bus.
