Aguas Blancas is situated in the northeast of Ibiza, and a dramatic, cliffside, golden-sand beach. The beach is exposed to the wind from the east, yet sheltered by its huge, colourful cliffs. One of the official nudist beaches on the island, and a favourite among locals, it still has quite a mixed crowd. You can see the island of Tagomago from this beach.

BEACHES
A nudist beach with a relaxed, tolerant, and diverse atmosphere: families, hippies, gays and nudists come here to relax. It’s a beautiful, clean, long beach, almost 300 meters, but rather narrow, only 15 meters wide. It has a range of facilities such as showers, toilets, parking, beach loungers, sunbeds, umbrellas, and a lifeguard. Access to the beach is difficult, so it’s rarely busy, even in the height of summer. It’s a great spot for sunrise, but stay only till midday – as the cliffs cast a shadow by the afternoon.
FOOD & DRINK
There’s a beach restaurant in the middle of the beach, Can Yucas, with a terrace and great views of the sea. A chiringuito is situated on the south end of the beach, often patronised by the hippy community. It gets busy early here, so come in the mornings.
SHOPPING
There are no shops at Aguas Blanca or nearby.
THINGS TO DO
There are no water sports or boat activities, so it’s mostly sunbathing and sun lounging, nude if you prefer. Some people apply muddy clay from the cliffs, as they say it’s good for the skin. On windy days, the beach is perfect for body surfing. Some areas by the rocks can be good for snorkelling.
ROAD ACCESS
Aguas Blancas is about 10 minutes drive from San Carlos, and you only reach it by car. From San Carlos to San Vicente, turn at the Aigues Blanques signpost. Follow the sign until you come to a parking area, at the top of the cliff. The access to the beach is down the steps, and can be quite steep.
